Trauma and School Connectedness Task Force

Trauma and School Connectedness Task Force
Trauma and School Connectedness Task ForceDear Parents, Guardians and Community,

You are cordially invited to join us as we convene the Capital School District’s Trauma and School Connectedness Task Force meeting on Tuesday, February 1, from 5:30-6:30 pm via Zoom.

Meeting ID: 882 5837 0412

Passcode: 369102

We will be joined by Take Care Delaware, an organization which supports children exposed to trauma through improved communication and collaboration between law enforcement, schools and mental health providers, and connects families, schools and communities to mental health services.  They will provide an overview of their services.

We will also have a presentation from the Delaware Fatherhood and Families Coalition.  This coalition is an extension of the Promote Safe and Stable Families Program and the Responsible Fatherhood initiative created specifically to give a voice to fathers and the importance of their involvement in fostering the well-being of their children.

There will be a question and answer time for each of our presenters, a follow-up from our last meeting and actions, steps and date of next meeting.
In closing, together we will continue on our journey of spurring the audacity of hope to uncover the magic of new beginnings.

In the Spirit of Unity through Love,

Dr. Vilicia Cade
Chief Executive Officer and Superintendent
