Capital’s Early Childhood Centers are built on the joy of early learning and the power of strong relationships. Serving children in Pre-K (ages 2–4) and kindergarten, we create safe, supportive, and engaging classrooms where every child can grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

With strong routines and intentional instruction, students develop early literacy and numeracy skills, build confidence, and learn what it means to be part of a caring community. Families are essential partners in this work, and together we celebrate each child’s growth and success from the very start.

Capital’s elementary schools are vibrant learning communities where students strengthen core skills, expand their curiosity, and grow in confidence every day. With caring educators and strong family partnerships, students develop as readers, writers, problem-solvers, and teammates.

From literacy and math to science, the arts, and social-emotional learning, we create engaging experiences that help children discover their strengths and prepare for what comes next.

Capital’s middle schools are where students build stronger skills, deeper confidence, and a clearer sense of who they are becoming. With high expectations and strong relationships, students strengthen academic foundations, develop critical thinking, and explore interests through electives, activities, the arts, athletics, and leadership opportunities.

Both middle schools are located on the same campus, creating a connected community that expands opportunities for students while keeping support systems close. We focus on the whole child so students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally as they prepare for high school and beyond.

Dover High School prepares students to take their next big steps into college, careers, and life. Through challenging coursework, real-world learning experiences, and a supportive school community, students develop the skills, mindset, and independence they need to succeed after high school.

With opportunities across academics, career exploration, leadership, athletics, and the arts, Dover helps students find their direction, build confidence, and graduate ready to thrive.

Capital’s County Programs deliver specialized services for students who benefit from highly individualized instruction and support. Kent County Community School, home of the Capital Delaware Autism Program, serves students across multiple districts in Kent County through a network of sites that includes a main location and satellite programs that support inclusion opportunities when appropriate. Our team-based approach brings teachers and therapists together to design and deliver services that match each student’s needs.

The Kent County Secondary Intensive Learning Center provides an intensive, student-centered option for secondary students who have not found success in a traditional setting. With academics, counseling, and individualized programming, we support student growth, strengthen engagement, and prioritize the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs that help students thrive.
