Dear Senator Nation,
We wanted to take this opportunity to jointly share that the Board of Education has taken action to accept the resignation of Dr. Vilicia Cade, CEO and Superintendent effective July 22, 2024.
With respect and esteem, the Board of Education would like to formally wish Dr. Cade the very best in her future endeavors and we want to publicly thank her for her service to Senator Nation. The board members would like to express their gratitude for the past three years in which the board and Dr. Cade have collectively served toward edifying the significance of Senator Pride. As we transition our leadership in Capital School District, the hallmark of our joint efforts will remain collegial, rooted in advancing educational excellence through innovation.
In the spirit of unity through love, Dr. Cade humbly expresses her gratitude to the Board of Education and wishes the district exponential success as we depart ways. It remains her belief that under the esteemed Board of Education the district will remain the heartbeat of the first state.
In closing, saying goodbye is never easy so we will choose to say “see you around” as we know our undying collective commitment remains focused on the success of our students, our staff and our parents with community.
