We are thrilled to announce that Capital School District's very own Ms. Dasianee Gavin has been selected as a 2025 Delaware State Finalist for the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) in the science category for grades 7-12!
This prestigious recognition places Ms. Gavin among the top three science educators in Delaware. Her application will now advance to the National PAEMST Selection Committee, where she could be selected as a National Awardee.
