Capital Quidel COVID-19 Screening Test Invitation

In partnership with the Delaware Department of Health and Quidel, Capital School District will offer weekly COVID-19 screening tests at each school site for students and staff for the 2021-22 school year.

Testing is only for those who are not sick (are asymptomatic).

If you are interested in participating, please

This link is specific for Capital School District students and staff, will take no longer than 5 minutes, and is only required one time!

Here is a little more information about the testing program and process:

Testing is required for unvaccinated staff, but voluntary and highly recommended for those who are vaccinated.
Screening Testing is free of cost to you, so no insurance information is needed, nor will you ever be asked to pay for these tests.
Testing will primarily be done through self-swabbing and monitored by medical staff on site - school staff will not be doing the testing.
The test being used for this program is the Quidel QuickVue. For more information on the test, please read the fact sheet here.
Results and communication will be shared electronically to the email and contact information used for registration. Results are primarily shared every 15-30 minutes.
If you (staff) or your child (parent/guardian) tests positive, the school will contact you directly.
