Updates for 4/9/2020We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our families for their support and helping our students complete their Distance Learning Activities. Our teachers are currently working on the next round of Senators@Home Learning Activities and hopefully your students have been in touch with their teachers to provide support. If you have not received learning kits for your child at home please contact the school to update your contact information.

On Wednesday, the Capital Board of Education voted to modify the school calendar in light of the interruption that was caused by the pandemic. Please visit our website linked here.  As part of the Calendar Change, Spring Break will now be Friday, April 10th and Monday April 13th only. Teachers and staff will not be working those days in distance learning. We know that many of our families have been able to take advantage of the breakfast and lunch program we have offered with over 50 stops throughout the community. With the Passover and Easter Holiday, our Food Delivery Program will be suspended on Friday April 10 and Monday April 14th and will resume on Tuesday April 15th.

On our website, there is information to support our students who may be experiencing distress during this unprecedented time in their lives. Should you feel that your child needs support please feel free to use the links on the website http://bit.ly/csdstayhealthy or contact the school. We are here to support you and your child.

Please don’t forget to complete your Census as it is the information that is used for funding schools. It is critical that the Census be accurate so we can fund our schools and community services.

Again, we would like to thank our staff for all that they have done to ensure that our students are safe, and remain connected with their schools. We would also like to thank our families for their flexibility in this trying time and your following the guidance from our Governor to stay home and if you must go out, to cover your face, not to protect yourself, but to protect others from any exposure you may bring to them, and to practice social distancing at all times. We are all in this together if we are going to #flattenthecurve and we appreciate all of our Senators for doing their part.
