Help with Learning at Home

Moving to a "new normal" of working and learning from home presents unique challenges for families and educators to facilitate online learning. Below are some resources you can use as we navigate this together as one Senator family.

How do I contact my student's teacher?

Capital School District maintains an online directory of all staff members to help you stay connected that is searchable by name. You can find that directory here.

How do I contact my student's Administrator?

Capital School District maintains an online directory of all District and Building Administrators for your reference. Please see the links below:

How do I get technical support while at home?

Capital School District has compiled a list of helpful resources for working with the connectivity of devices at home. Please see our "Help with Connecting at Home" page to utilize those resources.

Please email [email protected] for help with any questions not addressed on that page. We will do our best to connect you with the right resources.

What is Classlink and what does it do for my student?

Classlink is a one-stop-shop application being utilized this year by the Delaware Department of Education and Capital School District. This will provide direct links to resources your students need to try and provide a single login for as many applications as possible. With learning being virtual as we start the year, we feel this will help bring students to the resources they need.

Student Login Instructions:
Classlink Login ScreenStep 1: Select "Login with ADFS"

Step 2Enter your student's username and password ([email protected]). This is the same username your student uses to login to Capital School District computers while in the classroom. Passwords for grade 5 and above is the student's ID. Passwords for grade L thru 4 are available by contacting your student's teacher if they do not have this information. Please contact your student's school if you do not know their student ID.

Note: All single sign-on applications will automatically display and will not require additional login information. Other available links may require additional login information and would be available through your student's teacher if your student does not have this information available. Please utilize the online directory to email staff.

What is Clever and what does it do for my student?

Soon, Clever will be replaced by Classlink. While Clever still currently works and can be utilized by families, now is the time to begin getting familiar with Classlink.

Clever is an online learning portal designed to help your students get signed into educational resources that are normally used in the classroom. With many online applications being "Clever enabled" this provides a single login interface for many instructional programs and a collection of links for other programs that are not yet enabled for Clever. You can visit the Capital School District Clever Portal by visiting http://www.capital.k12.de.us/student_portal or https://clever.com/in/capitalschooldistrict.
