Through Innovation

The Capital School District’s Buildings & Grounds Department is committed to supporting our school community by providing safe, clean, and welcoming environments where students can learn, staff can work, and families can feel confident. Our team takes pride in maintaining facilities that reflect the District’s dedication to excellence and care for every student, every day. 

In support of this mission, the Department cares for approximately 1.2 million square feet of instructional and support space across 15 buildings, along with more than 275 acres of District property. Each space is maintained with a focus on safety, functionality, and creating positive environments that support teaching and learning.
